Fujitsu Hard Drive Data Recovery
I have a Fujitsu MHV2120 which is not working properly. I had encrypted my hard drive using standard software. I then had a small bump with the Laptop in the car. Things seemed ok for a couple of days, and then I got a message from Windows saying that there was a corrupt registry. I tried to decrypt my files so that I could get them onto another hard drive. The decrypt ran for several hours, well into the next day, and I saw that the laptop was getting very hot. I booted the hard drive into Windows, and could see it, so I ran a CHKDSK. The drive disappeared, and has not worked since.
I have a Fujitsu MHV2120 laptop which is having some problems. The main problem is that I have lost the main hard drive, onto which I had stored a significant amount of data. I was not too worried, as I thought that I had a flash drive on my USB which had all the data saved into it. I did a backup a few months ago, and was prepared to bite the bullet on any other data loss. However, when I plugged the USB into another machine, I saw that there was no data at all on it. I did a consolidation program on it recently, which I thought would just make more room on the drive. Apparently, it also moved all of the data straight back on to the hard drive, the one that has just failed. I did a little bit of data recovery, and managed to get back pictures and videos without any problem, but all of the Word and Excel documents appear to have been damaged.
