Retrieve Data From A Lenovo Desktop PC

I have a Lenovo IdeaCentre K210 which is not showing any display on the monitor. What is happening is that I am turning the system on, and all of the power lights are coming on, including the internal light on the motherboard. Then, the fans start up, and the hard drive starts turning round. I can see that the drive is being read as the light on the front flickers, but at the same time the monitor says that there is no signal. Eventually, because the computer does not boot up into BIOS, the monitor lapses into Economy Mode. I have replaced the monitor already and found that that is not the problem.

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M72E which is causing me a bit of a headache. I am not able to get into some of the files on my computer, particularly those which are connected to the drivers, for example graphics or video files. I also can’t get into audio files, which is particularly difficult for me as I have a business which uses audio recordings to create podcasts and commentaries to videos. This is my main source of income, and I can’t afford to take too much time away from this. My immediate thought was to upgrade the drivers, which I did as soon as possible, but this solution has not resolved the problem with the files. I have tried to look at the drivers under Device Manager, and can see that neither the audio nor the video driver appear to be working. At least one of them is ‘not available’ when I try to enable it. I need to be able to recover this data, because it is essential for my finances, and I don’t want to lose the files which I have already created and used.
