A Drive With No Moving Parts Did Not Fail Because It Was Moved

The decode: why the move is irrelevant, and why start-up is not
Why relocation can be excluded straightforwardly: there is nothing inside to be disturbed. A solid-state drive has no platters, no heads and no bearings — the shocks that damage a spinning drive have no equivalent target here.
Why the timing still looks incriminating: the failure appeared immediately after the move, and coincidence reads as causation. What actually happened in between was a power cycle, which is the more likely culprit and would have occurred wherever the machine was.
Why start-up is the demanding phase for these drives: the controller has to read its own management tables before it can present anything. Those tables describe where content sits across the memory, and they are large, complex and read in full at every power-on.
